Chal Mera Put is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language comedy-drama film. It is directed by Janjot Singh, and co-produced by Rhythm Boys Entertainment, Gilz Network and Omji Star Studios. The film stars Amrinder Gill, Simi Chahal, Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti, Akram Udas, Roop Khatkar, Hardeep Gill and Gurshabad. The story shows how Punjabis work hard to earn money in another country. The film received a direct sequel Chal Mera Put 2 in 2020. The film was Janjot Singh’s first full-length film as a director.
Rakesh Dhawan wrote the film. The team began shooting in Birmingham in May 2019 and completed its work in June 2019. They also shot some portions in Punjab, India. Dr. Zeus and Gurcharan Singh composed the music. The film’s singers include Gill, Gurshabad, Nimrat Khaira and Bir Singh. The film was released in India on 26 July 2019.
Chal Mera Put grossed over ₹30 crore (US$3.5 million) in theatres worldwide. It became one of the highest-grossing Punjabi films of all time, grossing over US$3.6 million, and the highest-grossing Punjabi film overseas. At the PTC Punjabi Film Awards, it received six nominations, including Best Comedy Film.

Plot
Jinder, Bikkar and Billa live and work without legal papers in Birmingham, UK. They do many odd jobs to send money back to their families in India. Every day, they are vigilant because they are afraid of immigration raids. One day, Sevi and Baal stay next door. Soon, Jinder befriends them.
At the same time, Tawarej and Butta have come from Pakistan. They also want to earn money. They stay with Chaudhary Shamsher, who helps them to build a place to live.
One day, Jinder, Bikkar and Billa hear someone knocking. They think the police have arrived. They get scared and run away from home. Now they need a new place to live. While searching, they meet Shamsher. He also needs a roommate. So, they all decide to live together.
Later, there is some confusion. Because of that, Jinder and Billa go to jail. But in the end, all their friends come together, help each other and solve the problem.

‘Chal Mera Put 4’ is a Punjabi comedy-drama film. It will be released on the big screen on 1 August 2025. Janjot Singh has directed the film, and the screenplay has been written by Rakesh Dhawan. Karj Gill and Darshan Sharma have produced the film, while Sandeep Patil has handled the cinematography. The film comes under the Rhythm Boys Entertainment banner. This is the fourth installment of the popular ‘Chal Mera Put’ series.
The team has shot the film in the UK and Punjab. The film also includes new faces along with many popular actors from the previous installments. A strong casting team led by Lee Nicholas Harris and Preeti Vyas has carefully selected the supporting actors.

A must-see film. In fact, this is one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time. From the first scene to the end, I was laughing. The jokes were perfect – not too much, not too little. Every joke was well-timed.
Amarinder Gill did a great job again. His comic timing felt effortless and natural. His laugh timing matched every moment. Simi Chahal looked beautiful as always. The supporting cast like Gurshabad, Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti and Zafar Khan made the film even better. Their funny banter and banter made every scene more entertaining.
The jokes came at the right time and didn’t feel fake. The story moved along well and kept me hooked. The silly fights, cultural fusion and daily struggles of the characters felt real and funny. Like the past films, Chal Mera Put 4 used smart comedy rather than silly antics. It also provides good laughs and warm feelings.
