What is Larry David’s net worth?
Larry David is a funnyman, writer, actor, producer, and US show boss. His net worth is $400 million. Larry made his money by creating the show “Seinfeld” and the show “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. These two shows helped Larry stay on TV every year on a major channel since 1989.
Larry got most of his money because he had a share of the money that came after “Seinfeld” was sold. When the show was revived, Larry and Jerry Seinfeld each had a 15% stake after the show ended. You’ll see more about this later in the text.
If you’re wondering why Jerry Seinfeld has more money than Larry, here’s the reason – Larry lost a large part of his money in his 2007 separation from his ex-wife Laurie David. Larry said in the conversation that he gave Laurie half of what he had, about $200-300 million, and also some money that came from the “Seinfeld” rerun money.
Career
David began his career as a stand-up comic in 1974. He wrote for ABC’s late-night comedy show, Fridays (1980–1982), then for NBC’s Saturday Night Live during the 1984–1985 season. In 1989, David and comedian Jerry Seinfeld created the sitcom, Seinfeld. The show aired for nine seasons on NBC and won two Emmy Awards. He created the comedy show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, for HBO in 2000. The show ran for eight seasons and won a Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series in 2003. In 2009, he starred as “Boris Yelnikoff” in Woody Allen’s comedy film, What Works.

Early life
David attended the University of Maryland and graduated (1970) with a degree in history. He then returned to Brooklyn and got a job selling bras, which was one of many things in David’s life – such as quitting a job and coming back later as if he had never given up, removing tapes from the answering machine so his girlfriend couldn’t hear what he was saying, and starting a funny self-control game with friends – which later appeared in the life of Seinfeld’s “lovable loser” George Costanza.
